I purchased the Zion at Arlington Camera in Arlington Texas. The bag has held up great. What sold me on the bag was the ability to customize it for my gear. Plus it sits up on its own when I take it off in the field. Plus it has those nifty side pieces (nylon triangles) that allow me to unzip the bag and have the front flap open without dumping anything. Plus it backpacks well with the waist strap. Plus it has a handy grip at the top. Plus it has pockets everywhere. Its just well thought out.The only frustrating part is that I like it so much I want to get another one but cant figure out why!

"Hi Michael, The Bags arrived yesterday and it was like Christmas morning, checking them out, trying them on and more.
And just as the tag says, every time we opened one zipper, we discovered a new cool feature! I compared the size, weight and options with the other bags we have and MRock really does have so many great features and advantages. In fact, if I could change something, it would only be to have a bright colored interior.
Personally, I think the Zion with the added belt is awesome, even for a small woman. I have not tried it filled yet, but I just may have to! I am going to take it with me to a presentation-seminar I am doing at the Orange County Women in Photography meeting this coming Wednesday....and it will be held at Samy's Santa Ana store."
Thanks!!!, Lynette

"Hello Michael, My name is Brian and I am 14 years old and I am a keen photographer. I believe my dad (Neil Aspey) has e-mailed recently regarding advice on M-ROCK bags.
I recently got my dad to order me a Zion 523 which i am VERY PLEASED WITH !!, I really cannot find any fault with the bag and I think M-ROCK bags are the most well thought out camera bags both me and my dad have ever come across !!! I really like the quality of the bag & padding material, the design, pockets, hydration pack, rain cover, lens cleaning cloth & removable bag. I think the features of the bag give it an advantage to the other camera backpacks on the market because usually the accessories come at an extra cost ie: rain cover & lens cleaning cloth which not many bags come with, Also the idea of the hydration pack saves you the cost of carrying bottles of water round and possibly of another bag with a hydration pack in.
I am going on vacation, with my mum & dad, in october to Las Vegas, we should be going to the Grand Canyon, Red Rock Canyon & The Hoover Dam, so I will most definately be taking the bag with me !!!
I will definately be purchasing another M_ROCK bag, maybe a holster, for putting my camera in when I dont need to take all my camera gear & when we are walking around during the night.
Once again I have to say the quality and design of your bags are phenomenal and we cannot find any bags that even come close to matching the quality, so thats a BIG THUMBS UP on that one !!!!"
Warmest regards......Brian !!

"Hi Michael, Thank you for the response, I never would have expected one. I have always liked photography but until recently could not afford the money to get what I consider a really good camera. I just finially broke down and bought Nikon D300, just for fun, wildlife, etc.. I did a lot of research into differnt cases and got my hands on as many as I could. I liked a couple of the LowePros but they did not seems as versital as your modular product. I looked at some Tamarac and I can not believe anyone with a good camera would buy them, they seem very under-padded. All the looking I kept doing , I kept coming back to M-Rock. Look forward to recieving the cases.
Thanks again
John."
