Just wanted to give you my feedback on the Arches bag -- I haven't been a fan of slingbags so far, but I thought that Arches looked like a good size and had the flexibility of being a regular backpack too.  I took it on a 2 day workshop involving a lot of hiking and really liked it as a backpack.  The customization of compartments along with the pockets worked well for me, and the multiple points of access were appreciated.  It was very comfortable to wear -- and the advantage of the size is that I could carry enough, but not too much.  It's much too easy with a large backpack to cram it full of everything you have, a decision you regret a couple of hours into your day.

It seems to be very well finished -- no soggy gear after a downpour -- and good attention to detail.  I haven't used it as a sling bag yet but think that should work well. Overall, very pleased with my Arches.  I look forward to my next photo outing with it.

Thanks,

Matt Orth

"Hello Mike,

Just writing to let you know that I took my M-ROCK Camera Bags, the Arches528 with me on vacation to the Bahamas. Let me tell you; 1st) it was nice carrying a camera bag that did not advertise, 'here is a camera'. 2ND) it worked just as advertised, slide it under your shoulder forward, open up the double zipper and everything is there. No need to stop, sit down and open up your bag. I never missed a photo opportunity because I couldn't access my camera. It was always right there. And 3rd, the greatest part, it rains a lot in the Bahamas, and sometimes unexpectedly, but with the attached rain proof cover (which I must admit, I never carried one before, used to use a souvenir bag) I had no fear of my camera ever getting wet.

Once again, thank you for everything; a great product and the wonderful customer service that I had received.!"

Sincerely, Ed

"Finally - a camera bag that does not disappoint. I have so many others sitting in the attic. Not this one.

My new Arches bag has it all - plenty of room but not too big, easy, fast access to all my equipment and its comfortable to carry

People should know that you can fit a second SLR with medium lens in the top compartment. So I can now carry 2 SLRs, 4 lens, a flash with large diffuser, and all sorts of accessories.!"

Thanks so much for an excellent bag, Thomas Crosley

"Hi Michael, Greetings from Liverpool, England. have received the Bags on Friday & I Must Say How Really Impressed I am with The Functiality (an English Word), Build Quality & Appearance of the bags !! Absolutely Brilliant !! The Arches just swallows Gear & doesnt swell an inch and there's a pocket to hold every conceivable accessory. I cannot thank you enough for your Rapid response to my emails.

In fact, both myself & my Son are so impressed, I am now going to order the Zion & Sierra for Him, as he finally persuaded me to rent A Hummer through Hertz to visit The Canyon in October & he needed to carry all his Gear!"

Michael, Thank You very much for all your help, Much Appreciated - Warmest Regards, Neil.
ps....I would love to write a review(s) & I reckon I could get a Great shot Of an M-ROCK on Location !!

"Dear Michael:

I realize your inbox needs not to be filled with idle chatter, however, I am obligated to offer some comments. I will keep them brief.

1). Thank you for your quick response to my query on Wednesday. Your comments were informative and candid. Your response to my order was exactly as I wished. I received my bag exactly when you suggested and in ample time to pack for my trip.

2). Have arrived in Western Montana, and I cannot say enough good things about the ease in maneuvering through airports your bag allows. Also its size is perfect for overhead compartments.

3). The bag is roomy and protective. Trekking through the hills and coolies of the foothills of the Crazy Mountains, is a breeze because of the balance.

4). The "sling" design function works just as envisioned. The bag not only gives up the camera easily, it also becomes a means of stability as the camera is focused to shoot.

5). Though not inexpensive, it is a great value.

Thanks again and kind regards - Dennis Ammons."

"Recently I went whale watching in a little Zodiak boat off of the Oregon Coast. While the weather was nice the ocean was not so cooperative. I tried keeping my D300 out of harms way as long as I could but eventually grabbed the waterproof bag that came with my arches bag and stuffed the camera inside. The bag itself was sitting in the bottom of the boat while water splashed over the side and soaked it. At one point a swell dumped us forward and a wave broke over the bow of the boat. I figured everything in my bag would be wrecked. My extra batteries, lenses, hard drive, memory cards, and anything else electronic all had to be gone by this point. When we eventually got back to the dock I put the bag on the deck and unzipped it. I was astonished to see that everything inside was bone dry. Not a single drop of water had made it's way in. I own other camera bags that can hold more of my gear, but I keep coming back to my Arches bag. Nothing else I have ever owned can hold as much while being so convenient and unobstrusive. Thank you for making such an excellent product - Erik."

"Cool, thanks a million for your help with my Arches sling bag. I just purchased another M-ROCK bag (Glacier) to use as a lens case for some of my larger Telephotos. Love your product, thanks for your excellent customer service...above and beyond! - Richard Meyer."

"Thanks - I was about to buy a Lowe 300 Slingshot, when I learned that other sling-style bags were available. So I found you via Google search for sling camera bags. Yours looked like the best to me, and I was right. It is the most comfortable bag I've ever owned.

Thank you for the Arches sling bag. - Ted Quanrud."

"Thanks Michael, I have used your bags in the past and have recommended them to my photo loving friends. You make a superior product! Thank you." - Eric Krukow
