"Attention: Camera Bags Design Department, On October 2, 2007, we purchased our Nikon D80 SLR Camera, camera equipment and M-ROCK # 518 Everglades camera bag from High Point Photo Supply, Inc in High Point, North Carolina. Terry Still was our knowledgeable sales representative.

On November 20, 2007, while we were driving on Highway 158 on our way to an outdoor photo shoot location, we were heavily rear-ended; sending our vehicle off-road, down an embankment, which we then hit nose down and flipped; totaling our vehicle. I ordered the Biscayne digital camera bag, and not only was it shipped and at my house in less than a week (at Christmas time, no less), it had more functions than I thought possible with such a small bag. It has 2 internal compartments and one on the outside. All of them nicely fit extra batteries and memory cards. It also has an extra nylon bag attached with a string and is stuffed nicely into one of the internal compartments to put over the entire case, which is really nice for when it’s raining and I’m out on the trail. "Michael, It's been over a year since I got three of your bags (Sierra, Ozark and Niagara) and the belt. While I have only used the belt a couple times, I have used the bags very extensively and am shocked that they still look brand new. My only issue was a plastic clip which broke early on but you replaced it instantaneously and without any hassle whatsoever. Top notch.

I'm not an extreme outdoor photographer by any means, but I do a lot of hiking and kayaking and such. I always have at least one, if not two or all three of my M-Rock bags with me. The versatility of your designs is amazing.

I figured I'd also let you know that my [rather large for its class] Minolta 7D fits perfectly in the Sierra with room at the bottom for a 2nd lens, and plenty of room at the top to stuff in the neck strap as well. I keep a wide zoom and a walk around zoom in that camera, with one on the camera body and one laying at the bottom of the bag, interchangeably. In my Ozark is a 50mm prime lens, and the Niagara carries a big telephoto zoom lens. So that's one big SLR and four separate lenses covering the range from 17 to 300mm, all instantly available to me wherever I am!

The bags handle the weight and bulk of all this -- pus 2 spare batteries, a CF card, about 12 filters of various diameters, my 7D quick reference, notepad, 2-3 pens, and a compact cleaning kit, plus one rain cover (for the Sierra) -- with ease. The bags are organized so I can literally grab them all at once or just one or two, depending on my needs.

My wife is also happy as the bags have room to spare, which keeps my ever-growing list of filters and accessories in one place! I'm really glad the guys at Prime Color Photo in Worcester, MA pointed me in the right direction. :-)

I've got to tell you--I LOVE how well the U-shaped lens cradle supports my Lumix FZ15's long zoom lens. And because the velcro on the cradle and the divider can stick anywhere inside the main compartment of the bag(as opposed to most of your competitors' bags, where the velcro can only attach where those "strips" are placed), I was able to easily move the cradle and divider to form a nicely snug custom fit for my camera...ingenious. And with this unique and innovative U-shaped lens cradle system, I'll never have my camera loaded "lens-down" in a holster case again.

I must also tell you(and I know from your testimonials that you've heard this many times before) that the quality of the materials used and the excellent fit and finish of my Glacier Bay(and the accessory Modular Belt) FAR exceed those of the Lowe Pro and Tamrac bags that I have owned(and own!)...simply superior.

I'm awaiting delivery of a Hama rubber collapsible lens hood, which I plan on keeping attached to the camera permanently. "My approach to photography involves having my camera with me twenty-fours a day, every day, because no one can anticipate when a picture opportunity will happen and all of us have had those moments of regret, "If only I had a camera with me!" So in December of 1999 when I purchased a new Canon A2E I put a great deal of care into looking for a camera bag because this would be an object that I would be living with,not just my camera bag, but my everything bag carrying cell phone, wallet and other essentials so that it would become almost an extension of my body. I looked at what everybody had to offer before purchasing my Gand Canyon with modular belt and two side pouches. It seemed to be very sturdy, but I expected to get about a year out of it before it would need replacement. I'm very rough on bags, and a year is about what I got out of my high quality Mountain Smith Lumbar packs whi ch I assumed were made to the highest standards possible

It is now October of 2004 and I just returned from a photo safari in Mexico, including two spelunking adventures and I am still using the same Grand Canyon bag! Yes, it looks weather worn as you might expect, but it is still hanging in there after countless adventures and hours of walking almost every day for almost five years. So many items are designed to look impressive on the shelf and attract purchasers. The truth is I was orignially attracted by the aesthetics, the beautiful logo, the black and midnight blue minimalism, but now I see that this is a product made with true integrity. This integrity is of two kinds, the integrity of craftsmanship and design of old school integrity, not the look glitzy now, fall apart later school. The second integrity is in the sense of structural integrity, no bag I have ever owned (and I have always bought the very best I could find) has ever been able to survive what thi s bag has.

With some occassional mending I could probably get another five years of constant use out of it, but my new plan is to get a brand new Grand Canyon and put my old bag on stand-by to use on some of my messier adventures, while my new bag will be more presentable for around town.

I searched the internet to see what was available (Lowe-Pro, Case Logic, Tamrac, etc.) and I looked in stores like Circuit City, Best Buy, Brands-Mart USA, Wolf Camera and Ritz Camera.
